Most of the world population links breathing pure air with life outdoors. But moments outdoors are scarce because we spend 90% of our lifetime indoors. Home, workplace, schools, public buildings, malls, or hospitals are among these enclosed spaces. The air renewal in these spaces is not natural and will be compromised if systems cannot guarantee healthy breathing for both the building and its inhabitants.

We take very seriously our mission to develop products for indoor air renovation which help maintain the air in the purest conditions. NPS ® is a byproduct of this mission, as well as its multiplicity of applications.

NPS® is the outcome of ongoing research at OCRAMclima to develop air purification systems for sensitive environments with highly demanding standards for hygienic control. Clean rooms, where contamination control is a maximum priority; Hospitals or clinical environment, eliminating the risk of viruses spreading or human infections, guaranteeing the safety of healthcare professionals and patients.

NPS® responds to strict standards in different sectors and operational areas, such as nanotechnology industry; control rooms; pharmacies; livestock facilities and animal shelters; automobile industry; meeting rooms; food handling and processing industry; bakeries; industrial, restaurant and home kitchens.

CLEAN AIR TECHNOLOGY

The Nano Purifying System (NPS®) is a highly efficient air purification system, designed by and for the HVAC (Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning) industry but also home use. This equipment allows 99.9% neutralization of bacterial and fungal replication in the air.

HOW EVERYTHING WORKS

The process of catalytic ionization of air gives origin to extremely reactive catalytic radicals which will strongly interact with Volatile Organic Compounds, such as hydroxyl radical (OH-), hydroperoxide radical (HO2) and superoxide anion (O2-). These highly reactive substances can oxidize VOCs adsorbed on catalytic surfaces. Air pollutants, in which Volatile Organic Compounds are included, adsorbed on the surface, are preferably turned into carbon dioxide (CO2) and water (H2O). The Photochemical of UV in cells causes thymine dimerization of nucleic acids. The ultraviolet radiation source is evenly responsible for titanium dioxide surface activation.

NPS® PERFORMANCE TEST

The NPS® underwent performance testing undertaken by an independent studies evaluator for indoor air quality. The results validate NPS® as a powerful weapon against indoor air contamination thanks to the combination between UV effect and air catalytic ionization.  The charts below show the results of indoor air quality analysis over a four-hour period.

Installation should only be performed by qualified professionals wearing the appropriate safety equipment.

UV Radiation

Avoid looking directly at the UVGI system during operation, UV radiation can damage biological structures! Wear appropriate eye protection.

Electric Shock Hazard

Always install equipment disconnected from power line to prevent the hazard of electric shocks.

Maintenance

Prior to any maintenance on the equipment, always disconnect the power supply.
Maintenance should be performed by qualified personnel only.

Recycling

OCRAMclima air purification equipment uses low pressure mercury lamps. These lamps must be recycled separately and by qualified technicians.
